Commissioning Engineer


At Airco Process Technology we develop, design, and deliver innovative process plants for biogas
upgrading and carbon capture. While doing that we are also an innovative and culturally diverse

We are looking for more dedicated Commissioning Engineers who can support our plants’ realization and are motivated by working in an industry with highly advanced technology. You must
coordinate commissioning and conduct Site Acceptance Testing with internal as well as external
representatives.

 

 

Job tasks
1. Verification and approval of properly executed plant installation
2. Installation supervision on selected projects
3. Responsible for planning and execution of commissioning start-up and delivery of plants
4. Training of the customer’s technical staff in plant operation and maintenance
5. Report status and coordinate tasks with the project team
6. Complete the SAT and prepare final documents with the customer
7. Coordinate activities with customer representatives
8. Comply with all safety measures

 

The ideal candidate
Educated marine engineer, mechanical engineer, or similar with a minimum of 3 years of experience after
graduation. Your experience is ideally built up in the process industry in a similar position or
alternatively from the commissioning of complex HVAC systems. It will be a great advantage that you
understand and have experience with complex pipe installations, including the commissioning of steam,
compressors, refrigeration, pressure systems, and electrical installations.

You enjoy working with different nationalities. You have good collaboration skills and find it natural to
communicate and share your knowledge with colleagues as well as customers. You see the value in
working together as a team, utilizing each other’s knowledge and experience. Technical curiosity is a
must!

 

We value travel experience; you should expect 180 travel days a year. In between trips, you can
join our remote support team or perform minor administrative tasks, while in principle you do not
show up at the office in Fredericia. We work in an industry with a significant amount of
documentation, and you must be comfortable with safety procedures, rules, and standards as well as
maintaining these.

 

You speak and write English at the negotiation level.
