Frequently asked questions

Feel free to contact us, if you have any questions.

What is Carbon Capture and CCUS, and how does it work?
Carbon Capture refers to the process of capturing CO₂ from flue gas and industrial emissions before it enters the atmosphere. CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) includes capturing CO₂ and either storing it underground or utilizing it in products such as fuels or chemicals. Our CCUS solutions separate, purify, and prepare CO₂ streams for storage or industrial use.
How does biogas upgrading improve biogas quality?
Biogas upgrading involves removing carbon dioxide and other impurities from raw biogas to produce high-quality biomethane. This upgraded biogas can meet natural gas grid specifications or be further processed into liquified biogas such as Bio-LNG for use in transport and heavy-duty applications.
What is Bio-LNG and why is it important?
Bio-LNG (liquified biomethane) is a renewable fuel produced by liquefying upgraded biogas at cryogenic temperatures (around -160°C). Bio-LNG has a high energy density, making it ideal for heavy transport, maritime shipping, and other sectors where long-range, low-carbon fuel alternatives are needed.
What types of CO₂ can your purification and liquefaction systems handle?
Our CO₂ purification and liquefaction systems are designed to treat both high-concentration CO₂ streams and CO₂ captured via CCUS from industrial and biogenic sources. The purified liquid CO₂ meets industrial, food-grade, PtX, and EIGA Doc 70 standards, making it suitable for many applications.
How do your technologies support decarbonization goals?
Our range of solutions — including Carbon Capture (CCS/CCUS), biogas upgrading, biomethane production, CO₂ purification, and liquefaction — helps industries reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and create value from waste gas streams. By transforming emissions into usable products like biomethane, Bio-LNG, and purified CO₂, we support the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
